| 12-1-04 I have begun working on assembling an Echolink 440 simplex link at my residence. At this time, I am working on securing a dedicated PC for running the Echolink application 24/7, and testing the range of my antenna system with a program called echostation to determine if I want to use the system as a medium or short range link-up to the Echolink network. | 1-27-05 At this time, I am running echolink on 2m via my IC-2800 as I have time. The link is no longer up 24/7. I hope to remedy this situation as time and funds become available to re-vamp my antenna setup. |
