My family.  I'm quite sure that this free web page does not dole out nearly enough space to adequately describe my family.  We are very large and extended, and the stories therein are like clicking on a random hyperlink- you really never know where you are going to find yourself next.  From tragedy to triumph, my family has witnessed it.  And through it all, the one infallible truism has always been the backbone of this family.

My Dad, Becky and me at Graduation, May 1999.  This was a great time for me.  Beyond the excitement of receiving my degree (I tend to discount my first degree), the fact that my father was able to share this with me was very important.  I don't see my family often so this made his visit that much more special.  It was much more than simply having my Dad visiting.  His presence represented the whole of my family.

My Dad with the Group at Tony Clamatos', May 1999.   Tony's is a great little bar/restaurant where we like to hang out.  It was nice to share this with my Dad.

My brother Dominic and his wife Jill (whom I have yet to meet), 1999.  Dominic is the smart, artsy, and literary counterpart to my scientific mind.  I can't help but be envious of his free mind and ultimate sense of himself.

Me and my cousin David Andres, 1997.  I spent a year taking care of David after his mother died in 1996.  He became a very important part of my life.  Unfortunately, due to uncontrollable and unforeseen circumstances, David and I parted company in 1997.  I still think of him often, and hope that one day we might revisit our relationship.

My sister(Amanda), Grandma(she doesn't have a name- just Grandma), and niece (Samantha).  Isn't my sister beautiful?  Samantha is absolutely adorable, as well she should be, sharing genes with my sister as she does.
