Research Interests

The author's research interests lie mainly in the application of the finite element method to problems of the type broadly grouped under the classification computational fluid dynamics. The author has also modelled rigid body motion and investigated various aspects of modelling wave refraction, diffraction and diffusion; the ultimate goal in mind being sedimentation processes. The author's interests lean more towards mathematical modelling than engineering, although the distinction between the two is admittedly, often non-existant.
