Comments: Scale Bar is .5 mm. This is one of the largest elements
I have found. This bite would have really hurt! Images 03 and
04 were made through oil drop. At 30X it is possible to see dozens
of fine laminations, which do not quite show up in the maximum power image
AB02E14M08. Image 08 was made using a more powerful microscope imaging
through an oil drop and shows lamination clearly in very high-resolution
mosaic. Also available for viewing is a large
712 kb image. Final images are closeups of growth cone and inclusion
bodies under oil immersion.
