The real thang...
If you are familiar with Taxiway, EICAS or BIG, then ALT should be no stranger to you. You run it in exactly the same way as all of the above, and you pop up the display on the lower EICAS with the same keystroke, F11.
You need about 11 kilobytes of free conventional memory in addition to that required by PS1.3A. Note that only PS1.3A is supported at present.
At the moment the MB/HPA / IN.HG figures are static. Also, the Baro knob is non-existent. If I ever get round to improving ALT I will work on these features first. And also a better looking needle. :-) So don't bug me; I know about it.
Press F11 from inside PS1 to toggle the standby altimeter display on / off. If the display becomes corrupted or garbled, toggling it off then on will refresh it.
