Personal Statement My name is Caleb Banerjee and I was born in San Jose, California on August 13, 1999 at 9:28 am. My weight at birth was 7 lbs 13 oz and my height was 20 inches. Among my many talents is my ability to snort. Some people think that babies can only communicate by crying. I can snort also. I often do this right at the beginning of a feeding.	Click Here to hear me snort!

	This is me within minutes of my birth in the delivery room. The nurse holding me is Margaret, who was a great help through the whole delivery process. It was Dr. Hugen who actually delivered me.
	This is a picture of me and my Mommy the day after I was born. Neither Mommy nor I got much sleep. Fortunately, I only had to stay 2 nights in the hospital.
	This is me about an hour after I was born. They whisked me away to have my footprints taken and my shots 'OUCH!'. Fortunately, this did not last much more than an hour.
	I have lots of energy. I can tire out Daddy too. I don't think that it's fair that my parents take turns. That's 2 on 1, no fair!
	My parents have made some unfair claims that I cry too much and can get wild at times. As you can see from the picture, I am quite innocent of these charges.
	This is me with my best friend, the hog. I like him because he walks up right next to me and snorts at me ( at least until his batteries wear out ). The hog has taught me how to snort, which I love to do when people hold me right after feeding time.
	This is me with my otter friends at the Friends of the Sea Otter in Monterrey. I was really good on this road trip, so it is likely that I will go again.
