Online Tutoring
Objectives:
To provide notes (in words files or other word processor) for each topics, notes shall be considerably short but clear,
To allow students to read and ask by sending back the particular notes (files) with remarks,
To give tutorials and to mark tutorials.
Plans:
To compose notes,
To compose questions,
To compose solutions.
To Achieve:
To make Online Tutoring a success, the followings aspects shall be accomplished:
Sufficient/good notes (with good solved examples) shall be ready, [myself have really no time for this]
Sufficient times to explain/answer students' enquiries with regards to notes,
Sufficient tutorials/questions for students to practice,
Sufficient times to prepare answers for all questions from tutorials or questions submitted by students,
For Students/Tutors:
Students must have the intiative to learn, to practice, and to ask.
Students should learn to use Words with Equations Editor and to draw diagrams.
Tutor/tutors should be readily available to attend to students everyday.
My Words
This need to be achieved by only two ways:
a) to get enough dedicated/responsible volunteers, or
b) to employ part-time tutors
The earlier will not be so successfull as volunteers work only when they are really free.
The later shall be able to implement as wage is paid for their efforts.
