LAFAYETTE ESCADRILLE SQUADRON
On March 12, 1998 the on-line combat simulator squadron named the Lafayette Escadrille merged with the WW1 Musketeers squadron. These pages were originally created to serve as a home and message board to support those in the squad. The idea to provide some historical information on the Lafayette Escadrille Squadron lead to a trek through many sources in search of accurate information. The limited amount of history included in these pages is the result of much editing. Unfortunately, I do not possess a personal archive containing rare or unpublished data about the Lafayette Escadrille or its personnel. I truly wish that I could answer more of the questions that I have received concerning the history of specific members of the LE Squadron. However, I do plan on extending my personal research of the Lafayette Escadrille, and I will update the site from time to time. It should be said the this is not an official Lafayette Escadrille site. Due to the transitional nature of the LE squadron I do not know on what basis anyone could claim official status. If I am incorrect in that opinion, I am sure that someone will let me know. Thank you for stopping by.
