Other Fractal/Chaos Sites
- My PGSS Site - I attended the 1998 Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Sciences. While there, I took an elective on art and science. This involved playing with Adobe Photoshop and putting graphics on the web. Some fractals from this site are used.
- 1998 Fractal Art Contest - A contest to find some of the best fractal artists connected to the internet. You can view the images of the 1998 winners.
- Fractal Microscope - Explore the Mandelbrot and Julia sets with the aid of a supercomputer. No Java required.
- Sprott's Fractal Gallery - A huge collection of images from every kind of fractal and strange attractor imaginable. There is also a Java applet that will generate a fractal every few seconds.
- Mark's Fractal Worlds Gallery - Mark has used fractals to create beautiful realistic and surreal landscapes. It won't take many pictures to convince you that this is not just another fractal art gallery.
- Luke's Fractal material - An interesting page full of images mainly from the Mandelbrot and Julia sets. Learn about fractal brains, see the alphabet in fractals, and watch fractal animations.
- Fred's Fractal Laboratory - Fred Mitchell is a co-discoverer of the MGGS fractal, a fractal based on Newton's gravity. He has some interesting pictures which look extraterrestrial.
- Quaternion Fractals - An advanced Java applet that allows you to create Quaternion fractals. There is also a small art gallery.
- Fractals, Automata, and the Universe - This page has some Java applets which display fractals and cellular automata.
- ArtByMath Fractal Gallery - Some rare and unusual fractals that resemble creatures, vegetation, and celestial landscapes. They sell a CD with even more fractals if you like these. (I haven't tried the CD.)
- Fractals at the Edge of Chaos - Some awesome, but large, fractal animations. If you have a high speed internet connection, you should visit this site.
- Spanky Fractal Database - A page of many links to fractal documents, programs, explorers, galleries, etc.
Other Fun Sites
- Ask Dr. Science - Ask him the annoying questions you have, and he'll answer them. (Notice I didn't say "correctly.") Search his archives to find his answers to all kinds of questions.
- Car Talk - The web page for one of the funniest shows on public radio. You can listen to RealAudio recordings from their show, enter their daily trivia contest, and do many other things.
- The Laugh Shack - Includes 50 fun things to do in a crowded elevator, poorly worded classified ads, and many other similar things. A very funny site.
- SHAREWARE.COM - The way to find shareware.
- World Wide Music - A large online music store with sound clips from thousands of CDs of all genres.
Geocities
- Geocities - The web server this page is on, and yours could be on. They give eleven megabytes of space for free.
Add a Link
You can submit a
link, and if I like it, I will add it to this page. Simply fill
out the form below and click Send Link.
This form doesn't directly add links to this page; it sends them to me. I will then look at them and decide whether or not to add them. Also, I might edit your comment.
