The Team:
The team consists of the following members, most of whom are also members of the MCRCC.
Bruce Hoffman is our super announcer. He's also a superb builder and an excellent flyer.
Leslie Hodges is our lady flyer and the voice of our Witch. Leslie also flies our skydiver Screaming Sam.
Gary Monyhan has been flying R/C for many years... if we could only get him out of bed in time for the airshows.
Spencer Ellis, another avid R/C pilot. He's been flying for several years. Spencer got away from R/C for a while but has returned and is flying with the team.
Don Hudson, the owner of Hudson's Photography and Hobby Shop in Bedford flies helicopters and scale aircraft. Don has supported the team not only through his flying talent but also though his hobby shop.
The Hoosier Hills Airshow Team performs at about ten events throughout central and southern Indiana during the flying season. We have been the opening act at the Mount Comfort Air Show to benfit Riley Children's Hospital for the past two years. Once again we will be the opening act for this event.
The Hoosier Hills Airshow Team presently has openings for experienced flyers. Membership of the MCRCC is not required, but Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) membership is a requirement.
