Energy and Intensity of Light
Some characteristics of light are modeled by a wave. (Others are modeled by particles.)
The wavelength of the light corresponds to energy.
The amplitude of the light corresponds to intensity.
Red light has a longer wavelength (and less energy) than blue light.
A bright red light provides more intensity than a weak red light.
The wave below has an amplitude of 1.
