Energy and Intensity of Light

Some characteristics of light are modeled by a wave. (Others are modeled by particles.)

The wavelength of the light corresponds to energy.

The amplitude of the light corresponds to intensity.

Red light has a longer wavelength (and less energy) than blue light.

A bright red light provides more intensity than a weak red light.
