Take this simple test to see if you are a math geek. Click the box next to your answer to find out how much of a nerd you are!
go straight home and anxiously dig out that precious math book. There's nothing like a good dose of arithmetic to ease your brain. grab a bite to eat and watch television. You'll do it in between the commercials. wait until the announcements the next day to do your homework hoping your teacher won't notice that you've skipped a few problems.
2.Spring break has finally arived (everywhere but Fairfield High School!) and you're heading for the beach. You bring:
sunglasses and a bottle of tanning lotion. You can catch the rays while checking out the hotties. your calculus book (it never leaves your side, right Mrs. Austin?) a pail and a shovel. Maybe you could build a geometric castle -- maybe not!
3.Academic team is having a match today. You're so happy that you get to start. Your hand is on the buzzer eagerly waiting to buzz in. The question is "What is tan pi?" You ring in and answer:
"a month's supply of dessert" and rub your stomach hungrily. "I think it's one." "Zero." you sneer at the other hideous answers given by your opponents and think how dumb they are.
4. It's the last day of calculus class in college. You look at your book and...
burn it! Thank goodness no more math! save it to pass on to your children as a keepsake. They will thank you one day for their valuable inheritance. put it on the shelf along with all your other books from college. Maybe it will come in handy some day.
5. Your math teacher is always late to class. One day it was twenty minutes into the class and still no teacher. You:
wait until everyone else in the class has left and decide to leave also. You're not stupid. If no one else is having class, why should you? sit in your seat working diligently on next week's assignment while all the other students have already dismissed themselves. Maybe the teacher will eventually show up. make up the twenty minute rule which states that if a teacher hasn't shown up in the first 20 minutes of class, then the class is dismissed. Later you kick yourself for not thinking of the one minute rule.
6. Your house suddenly caught on fire. You are able to retrieve one thing while running out the door. You:
rapidly run into your baby sister's room and get her out of the house as soon as possible. feel around for your computer. There's nothing like losing your best friend. insanely think "forget my baby sister, forget my computer, where's my calculus book?"
