Failure to
follow the rules could result in the loss of a site. The regulations at each
site are as follows:
Champlain
OHPC has an agreement with NCC regulating use of the site. Following
applies:
(1)
each member flying (launch or land) at Champlain must first have signed a
NCC waiver;
(2) each person launching at Champlain must be a club member or a
guest to a club member;
(3) each level 1 or 2 launching at Champlain must be accompanied by a
level 3 or 4 pilot;
(4) each person flying at Champlain member must be insured (HPAC or
equivalent); and
(5) each member launching at Champlain must wear a helmet sticker
denoting his/her rating.
Embrun
OHPC has an agreement with a Mr. Lemieux, a farmer at Embrun. The site is
used exclusively for towing. Before flying at Embrun, authorization must be
obtained from Mr. Lemieux or a member of his family. Only use the fileds
specify by Mr. Lemieux
Laframboise
We can use this field for towing in the fall after the hay is harvested.
Paragliders can use the site for landing at other times. Before flying,
authorization must be obtained from Mrs. Laframboise. |
