The following are links to sites with information which I have found extremely helpful in writing
HTML and constructing homepages. I hope they help you too.
General
My husband discovered the Virtual University at http://www.vu.org and took their
"Introduction to HTML" course. Using that as a basis plus lots of other references which he
(husband) found on the WWW, I planned and programmed (with assistance from a student) the
company website. Many thanks to Jean aka Ghatten who taught the course. Even three months
later your course was super and the links to other sources were very helpful.
I was enrolled in the "Graphic and Design Shop" at the Virtual University and picked up lots of tips. The recommended text for the course, "Special Edition Using HTML, Second Edition"
by Brown et al. http://www.mcp.com/326603131548616/que/bookshelf has lots of useful general information.
There are other interesting courses so even if you are not interested in HTML and website
construction, you might well find something else. It is definitely worth having a look.
