With the generous space allowed by GeoCities and a new digital camera, I plan to include as many pretty pictures as I can.

On this page I want to share some of my favourite places in Europe and Canada.

• Megaliths of Carnac
  Photos, descriptions and maps of the major Megalithic (Stone Age) sites in the region around Carnac, Brittany, France. As well as the famous alignments, there are stone circles, dolmen (tombs), tumuli (barrows, i.e. dolmen covered by mounds), standing stones and engraved stones. We've visited Carnac 4 times now, but really concentrated on archaeology this last trip because it was such a cool summer. Bad holiday weather can have its advantages!
