Dudley is one of the world's classic fossil sites, renowned for its superb Silurian (Wenlock) fossils. The town's Wren's Nest National Nature Reserve and Castle Hill are currently the subject of a bid for World Heritage listing (see Dudley's URL). Dudley
Museum holds a definitive collection of local fossils; its Time Trail geology gallery has been acclaimed for its innovation.
In March - September 1998 the museum will be mounting 'World of the Sea Dragons', featuring the cream of privately owned British Jurassic marine material, most never before exhibited to the public.
2000 sees our 'Millennium Bug' exhibition, possibly the finest display of trilobites ever mounted in the British Isles. Again, this will comprise material almost entirely from private collections.
If you have any top class material that you think would complement either of these exhibitions I would be very pleased to hear from you.

Your links to my Charmouth/Dorset Jurassic pages are now partially dead. I've added so much more information that the lithic.html and hill.html pages have had to be split. each of the beds that appears in the cliffs at Charmouth now has its own page (all
ttp://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/~gcaselton/fossil/)
but now:
/bvm.html - Black Ven Marl
/swb.html - Shales with Beef
/bm.html - Belemnite Marl
/bs.html - Belemnite Stone
/ttb.html - Three Tiers Bed
/gab.html - Green Ammonite Bed
/ecb.html - Eype Clay Bed
plus dedicated fossil pages:
/ammonite.html
/belemnit.html
/crinoid.html
Please e-mail me if any queries.

I'm going to use an off-line reader to grab as much of the site as I can and read it off-line which helps save money since I'm limited to 80 hours per month here at Osan AB, Korea. I'm currently in the military with seven years to go and looking forward t
civilian life. My job is very boring and not very challenging to me. I've become very interested in Paleontology and will try to get stationed in Montana to try a little amateur fossil hunting if I can. This looks like a great site!!!
Take care,
