Dedicated to the memory of my beloved Pop - Everett Reid
The best chum anyone could ever have...
A Foster Father's Happy Birthday
This article was found thanks to the expert investigative efforts of my brother Sean. It was published in Parents Magazine in March 1961 (Vol 36, p. 46-47).
Here is a collection of articles from Pop's column Along my road featured in a number of northern newspapers (The Record-Argus of Greenville, Pennsylvania, in particular) during the late 1980's and early 1990's. At least one of these articles was also published 20 years earlier in a Florida newspaper. Pop was a longtime resident of McIntosh, Florida, before moving to Pennsylvania and then to Michigan to be near his daughter. These first articles are composed from clippings Pop sent me.
