This is my second try at scratch building a rocket. Now that I've learned what not to do, I think this one might work out better. This time I've put larger than necessary fins on, to insure that it flies straight.
The Molasses II is much larger than the Molasses I. But like the first one, it has a payload section. (much larger though)

---|---|---|---|---|
1 | 3/05/00 | C6-3 | No wind | Good flight, good recovery. My first ever successful scratch built launch. |
2 | 3/26/00 | C6-3 | No wind | Good flight, good recovery. |
3 | 5/20/00 | C6-3 | Lt wind | Broke a fin off when I caught it. |
4 | 6/14/00 | C6-5 | Lt. wind | Never got off the pad. Burned a good size hole in the pad too. Not sure why it stuck. Wehn I took it off it was kind of hard to move. This is the second time a Molasses rocket has got stuck on the pad... odd really. |
