The Stingray is a semi-scale version of the ship to air missle. By semi-scale I mean, it has the general shape of the real one, but it's not a scale version of it.
The first flight it flew out of control, so I put some clay in the nose cone. It flies fine now.

Flight # | Date | Engine | Weather | Comments |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | 11/15/99 | B6-4 | Very windy | The thing shot off sideways into the woods. Luckly came down right where two trees had just fallen. Got very lucky. |
2 | 11/25/99 | B6-4 | No wind | Good flight, good recovery. |
3 | 11/28/99 | B6-4 | Very windy | Not quite as stable as I thought. It corkscrewed off into the woods and landed in a tall tree. Didn't like this one much anyway. |
