This is my friend Rob and I near the Olympic Village in Barcelona.  This is overlooking the port in a large public park right near the main stadium.

This is a monument to Columbus, who sailed for America from Barcelona.  He is overlooking the Mediterranean, pointing east actually, because the Orient is where he hoped to end up.

This is a street performer along one of the main market streets in Barcelona.  They would dress up like a bronze statue and stay completely still until someone dropped money into their collection pot.  There were many different ones, even teams of several people acting out various scenes.  They were great at not moving.  Some didn't even blink their eyes.
