KEYWORDS:
finite element analysis, device, structure,
waveguide, dynamics, vibration, frequency, packaging, design SUMMARY My projects and experiences have been primarily in quartz
crystal device analysis and modeling for frequency control applications.
I have been closely working with business, design, production, sales, and
marketing people on all aspects of crystal devices. My
research results in terms of software for crystal device design has been used in
real product design and analysis. I
pride myself in being highly motivated, well-organized, responsible, accurate,
teamwork oriented, and ready to meet challenges. My communication skills, diversified experiences, and broad
knowledge are the solid foundation
for my creative problem solving ability. I
am experienced in computer languages, software project management, engineering
research, product design,
customer support, marketing support, and other aspects related to crystal devices and their applications. OBJECTIVE
A challenging
position in semiconductor device
packaging analysis and modeling with finite
element method. EXPERIENCE 1999 ---
present Senior Software
Engineer/Webmaster/Project Manager/Assistant to the General Manager,
NetFront Communications Inc, Sunnyvale, CA, and Beijing, China. &nnbsp;
Projects: Integration, deployment, support, administration, and marketing
support of Internet security products. Developing,
coordinating, and managing the
production and maintenance of corporate websites and product web packages.
Coordinating multiple
teams in the project initiation, specification, design, implementation, testing,
and integration. Overseeing the daily
operations of sales, marketing, engineering, and other teams of an international
software company with more than 50 people.
Technology review and advocacy in leading trade journals like InfoWorld,
InformationWeek, InteractiveWeek, and InternetWeek. 1995 --- 1999
Senior Member of Technical Staff, Epson Palo Alto Laboratory, Palo
Alto, CA.
Projects: Application software development for quartz crystal resonator analysis and design.
Started the project based my research work on crystal plates and waveguides and
evolved into a comprehensive software with full capabilities in crystal
resonator performance prediction and analysis for effects of electrodes,
mountings, and packaging. This
project has resulted many papers and reports published in Frequency Control
community and US patent applications. The
software has been successfully used by Seiko Epson crystal product plants
worldwide in design and production. My
task at the time also included administration of multiple processor production
servers and coordination with production, testing, and research teams
in Japan.
Won second award in research and development from Seiko Epson.
Filed three US patent applications on crystal resonator design and one has been granted. 1990 --- 1995
