You’ve found the web page of the Democratic Journalists of America. I know it’s not easy to fight through all the stuff that’s out there, but now that you’re here, I hope that you’ll enjoy yourself and come back from time to time as things are added.

Some of you might be thinking that ‘Democratic Journalists’ is being redundant. I have two words for you: Bill Clinton. Anyone who seriously believes that the way the media treated Bill Clinton was a result of the liberal tendencies of the people doing the reporting needs to have their head examined. While I was living in Colorado, I saw a bumper sticker that expressed my beliefs perfectly. It said, “Media outlets are only as liberal as the conservative corporations that own them.’

A glance at the editorial page of many newspapers, even in major metropolitan areas, will reveal names such as Cal Thomas, William F. Buckley and George Will. Liberal, they’re not. There are days when I’m wondering if Cal Thomas is to the right of Pat Buchanan, and Buchanan has to look to the left to see Slobodan Milosevic.

So, tell your friends that you found a voice that isn’t afraid to tell it the way that he sees it, even if it isn’t the conventional ‘wisdom’ spewed from the mouth of the ‘popular media’.
