This is Nixon’s waxwork in the famous Mme Tussaurds in London. I became interested in Nixon back at University, we only covered him in one lecture when you probably need at least 100 to get to know the basics of the US’s greatest President. My interest was rekindled after watching Oliver Stone’s ‘NIXON.’ I know that Nixon’s family were not happy with Stone’s portrayal but I felt that it was a good insight into Nixon the man and President. I agree with Walter Saffire’s synopsis on Nixon that he is like a ‘seven layered cake.’ Nixon had many sides to his character some dark and some good, exploring these areas takes a lot of study.
