CAMPAIGN UPDATE
Monday 10/19/98: We are phonebanking at Democratic headquarters which is on the
corner of Court and Chenango Streets (across from the courthouse) from 6:00
to 9:00 PM. There is a 5:40 Binghamton blue bus that leaves you right
near headquarters. Any questions, e-mail Tom.
Wednesday 10/21/98: We have our normal weekly meeting at 7:00pm in UU104.
Thursday 10/22/98: Bake sale in university union!
Friday-Saturday 10/23 & 10/24/98: College Democrats Campaign Invasion!!!
If you want to
do anything political this semester, this is it!!!!
The Democratic
National Committee will be busing in college students from all over the
nation to help re-elect Maurice Hinchey. During the day Saturday, we will
be doing lit. drops, meeting the congressmen, etc. There's even a rumor
that Schumer and McCall might show up. Then for all of those who have
been helpful, Democrats With An Attitude will be throwing us a party downtown. There will be free beer!!! Any questions, contact Tom or Al.
