Last year, we had a rather successful tournament schedule.

In dramatic events, we had two state qualifications, Chris C. and Missy A. in Duet, and Chris C. in Dramatic Interpretation (DI). Kim S. and Katie D. won 2nd Place at the Grand Prarie Tournament. This list will be added to when I can actually remember it all.

In LD Debate, we will miss our chief LD debater, Mr. Jon H. as he continues on to PESH. Congratulations to our debaters Christine P., Kim B., Eric S., Bryan Y., for the fine job they did this year. A special 'congrats' to Sean S., who won the Vines H.S. LD division.

In CX Debate, Elaine H. and Michael T. (a.k.a. 'Hotub'!) placed 3rd in NCX at R.L.Turner H.S. Alicia T. and Kristen S. placed 2nd in NCX at San Marcos H.S., and also tied for 2nd place speaker awards.

Student Congress: At state, our representative, Michael T. went all the way to Super Congress with (Alicia T.'s)'Pimp Ring'! At Districts, Michael T. and Eric S. in Senate; Alicia T., Chris C. and Kristen S. in House; Elaine H., Joyce L., Sean S., Kim S., and Christine P. in Novice House.
