These pages attempt to make exclusive use of Cascading Style Sheets for better displayed, uniform content. So far, Netscape Navigator 3.x & Communicator 4.x and Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x do not fully support all CSS features:

Communicator 4.0x does not fully support font sizes and line colors
Internet Explorer 3.0x does not fully support font sizes, vertical alignment in tables and changes link colors
Internet Explorer 4.0x produces by far the closest result to the one intended

As standards prevail and get supported by software vendors and HTML authors, things will get better. Maybe then we'll stop having to choose which browser to support. Meanwhile, try all the browsers you can and choose the one that looks best to you.

At present, The Active Civilian is best illustrated by Internet Explorer 4.0x.

Stephen Le Hunte's HTML Reference Library has succesfully provided HTML background since 1995.

Paul Lutus' Arachnophilia has been used to write these pages since December 1997. It is distributed with the interesting CareWare system.

The pages' existance in more than one places required the use of third party counters. Counter.Telecom's counters have been used since January 10, 1998. The datafiles were removed for unknown reasons for a while, but the counters have been back in order since the 20th of March, 1998.

Ipstat.com has been providing the statistics since January 9, 1998.
