"I would not have been successful without the &Santa Clara County Chapter of the YRFC. They were there when I needed them"

Laurie Smith
Sherriff of Santa Clara County

Dear Ed

Thank you for your kind note, and please forgive my delay in this response. I am so content with my decision- (To vote for the Impeachment of President William Jefferson Clinton) whatever the political cost. And it is gracious of you, and the YRFC, to recognize our common position on this issue of honesty in government.

I hope you are well, Ed.

Kindly,

Tom

Young Republicans in Action!
THE ORGANIZATION.
The Young Republican Federation of California is the premier youth-oriented grassroots political organization in California.  Young Republicans play an important role in addressing contemporary issues and electing Republicans to local, state, and federal offices.

OUR PURPOSE.  Young Republicans provide opportunities for its members to develop their leadership skills, provide service to their community, increase their political awareness, and network socially and professionally with other young adults.  Within the framework of the Republican Party, members gain practical experience and through a team effort are able to impact the political scene.

MEMBERS.  To become a Young Republican you must be a registered Republican between the ages of 18 and 40, pay minimal annual dues, and live, work or attend school in California.  Members are encouraged to be active participants in their local unit clubs, their county club, the state board, and with the Republican Party in general.
