About
Mid West Against Racism
All human beings
are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason
and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
(Article 1, UDHR)
Mid West Aganist Racism was formed in
March of 1998. It is a democratic alliance of people committed to
the fight against racism and deportations in Ireland.
Mid West Against Racism is calling on
all like-minded individuals to stand in solidarity with asylum seekers
and refugees and to resist the attempts being made to stir up racist feelings
in this country.
Every human being has a right to live
free from persecution. Asylum is a basic right, not an act of charity.
