The Christian Factor

The most important thing is knowing and doing the will of God. Nothing else really matters on this earth. As a Holocaust survivor once said, the last of the human freedoms is to choose his own attitude in any given set of circumstances. You can choose God and have the joy that only Christian living gives, or you can wallow in the mire of self-pity. We need to be living closer to God than ever before, and staying on moral high ground. We need to admit that we might not be ready to actually die for our beliefs in God, Constitution, family, and everything else that makes life worth living. Only then can we realize that we need strength.

What I see coming is a cop-out. We will see this when the government bans guns, fundamentalist religion, and voicing grievances about the government and the new world order in general. Many people who foolishly boast, "I'm going to fight until I'm dead," will cop-out at the last minute. When they see that they are actually going to have to stand, fight, and maybe die, they will tuck their tales between their legs and submit to an immoral government. They didn't want to be confronted one-on-one, but instead thought that someone else would do it for them so that they wouldn't have to. So much for their beliefs.

When we are confronted one-on-one, we will have to already have the assessment of our beliefs completed, so that we will know what to do without thinking. In this time we will have to determine whether we are mice or men. We will know when we have completed such an assessment of our beliefs. We will not be boastful, but instead we will grieve deep down in our spirits, knowing that there will be trials before there will be triumph.

Remember the Minute Men, who, in the history of our country, made a stand against an overwhelming English army that they knew they could not possibly defeat. They knew that they had not one chance of winning. Their courage ultimately cost them their lives. But had it not been for their stand against immorality and oppression, we might not be here now!

Communists and socialists loath our country so much because the citizens rule. It is set up in such a way that we actually have more say-so than the ruling power. Imagine that - we tell the President of our country what to do! He answers to We the People! That's an absolutely unheard of concept in government! In all governments past, the ruling power told the people what to do, and they had to comply! But we make our own rules (unless we forfeit that right)!

We have absolutely taken our country for granted! But we can change that by re-adjusting our own attitudes and working toward our goal- giving America back to the Americans. After how free we have been, it would be a tragedy to lose our freedoms that others have worked so hard to give us!
