The Second Protest-Part II

Since the security cop said that anyone could protest between the hours of eight and five, I prepared for a protest the next week. This time I was better prepared. I actually had an easel looking board that was made of chipboard. It was painted white and had a stick on the back for a stand. I loaded up and was at the Capitol Building shortly after eight. I took my board out of my car and preceded to the place I had set up a week ago. The defense weapon I took this time was my video camera. I set up my camera and proceeded to erect my sign.

It took almost no time at all before some plain-clothes cops arrived and were having a meeting directly under the dome about what to do with me. I videotaped them. Since I didn't have all my material, I went back to the car to get the things I wanted to post on the board. I got them together and walked toward the Capitol door. I met my board on the way out with some bureaucrat leading a couple workers carrying my property. The bureaucrat asked me where I wanted my board. I told him I wanted it just where I had it. He wasn't going to put it back so he asked me what to do with it. I told him he took it against my will and he would have to decide that for himself.

Without my board I had nothing to hold up my documents so I couldn't do anything but leave. I took my tape to the city police to report a theft but I still have not gotten my board or the videotape. There is a very good reason I will never see my tape again. That will be discussed under topic probably labeled DICK TRACY WARD DCI.
