Brainless from the Bench

It seems that psychologist Lee Peiffer was not only good at being fooled; she was even better fooling the judge.

I had court in the morning because she had asked for a protection order. As I entered the courtroom I was shocked to see Groff. He began to talk, but I told him, "It's time for us to part company."  He agreed and took a place behind me in the courtroom. I didn't understand why he was there. I figured it out later.

As I understand it, the judge was Merton B. Tice. Pfeiffer came in with her lawyer-looking like she was going to a funeral. They brought me in with chains on.

Clearly, Tice wanted to feel righteous and help Pfeiffer. He didn't want to investigate so he chose to intimidate from the bench. I argued quite a bit but I had no chance. I thought I would see how dumb he really was so I called Pfeiffer as "Dr. Pfeiffer." I knew she didn't have a doctorate in anything, so I wanted to see how this would fly. Tice grabbed up the phony title and called Pfeiffer "Dr. Pfeiffer the rest of the time. Pfieffer just sat there and let them call her Doctor Pfieffer all the hearing without correcting anything.

As if Tice hadn't proven himself stupid already, when it came to telling me what would happen if I violated the protection order. He really nailed it down. The law states that a violation of a protection order is a felony. After he read it off the paper, he said he didn't think that was correct. Pfeiffer’s attorney told him that it was correct. Even I knew it was correct.

I left screwed again and shaking my head in disbelief. I became even more horrified at the system. The only thing I felt good about was that I never addressed Tice as "Your Honor." There is NO honor in the system. It was clear that we are just fodder for the system. We become nothing more that morsels to keep the system of stupidity functioning.
