I believe that Saddam should be stopped. Yet I don't think that bombing is
the answer to the problem. If we bomb Iraq may not be able to bomb us.
But Russia can. If Russia bombs us, we will fight back, and together
introduce nuclear war to the world. Why can't we just send in some
spies to take Saddam out, instead of killing thousands of innocents
with nuclear bombs, and chemical weapons, and turning earth into
a barren wasteland of Hell.

While I agree that Saddam cannot be permitted to flout treaties and
UN decisions, I do not agree with Clinton's actions on the matter. I
fear that Iraq has nuclear, or at least deadly chemical, weapons. In
this day and age, it is exceedingly dangerous to lash out in anger,
righteous or not, in revenge.

I believe that the U.S. has no right to invade Iraq. The U.S. has no
right to use taxpayers' money to fund any projects in the Middle East,
whether it's a military venture or foreign aid to Israel. The U.S. has
been stockpiling oil for years, and we needn't go to war in the
Middle East over it.
-Nic Posey

We should not bomb Iraq! The whole idea is stupid! bombing Iraq
is going to result in another world war in which everyone
(or almost everyone) will die. If we had just killed Saddam Hussein
the first time, there would be no problem now. The whole problem
can easily be solved by the annihilation of Saddam Hussein.

I beleve that although we should have completely removed
Saddam Hussein from his base of power during the gulf war.
But that's in the past (20/20 hindsight). Due to the International
volitility of the situation, the united states is walking on egg shells.
as such, our only alternative is to agree to any reasonable treaty
that diplomats can create, while prepared for the probable
outcome of Saddam disobeying this treaty. Once he does so,
then we can effect a permenant solution to this legitimate terrorist
In the end justice will prevail... one way or another.

I am totally against bombing Iraq. I think that the U.S. often
resorts to force long before it has exhausted all diplomatic
possibilities. As a pacifist, I am opposed to violence of any
kind, in any situation. I admit that my view is idealistic, and I
will be the first to say that I do not know every specific involved
in the weapons inspection situation. However, I remain firmly
convinced that violence is never the answer, in any situation.
Violence can only lead to further violence, and it is better to
seek conflict resolution through peaceful, intellectual means.
