The California Legislature is where decisions are made which affect the working lives of public employees in every sector of government service.  CIPELC has a very active legislative program and not only sponsors legislation on behalf of affiliated unions but tracks hundreds of bills which affect our members.

The voice of independent unions and the public employees we represent will continue to be heard through the halls of the State Capitol only through the active involvement of all independent unions in California.  The spirit of cooperation and unity among independent unions remains the foundation of CIPELC and advocacy ensures the continued clout of all independents represented at the Capitol.
