Womyn of Patria unite!

The future is female!

Vote Lilith Party for the 48th Congress!

Welcome to the Lilith Party's Home Page for the 48th Congress election. We are an all-female party dedicated to womynly ways and matriarchal values. While we welcome the support of pro-feminist men, all our candidates for Congress and all our support staff are womyn.

The Lilith Party was established in 1997 as a breakaway group from the now-defunct New Forum and the Chakra Party.  While we share much of the Chakra Party's commitment to compassion and Goddess-centered spirituality, we believe the Chakra Party (as well as the Amrita Party) are not totally committed to feminism and womyn's issues. Case in point, the Charka Party does not use the "womyn" spelling, claiming that this spelling is "a relic of Chaucerian English", rather than an affirmation of our fight against male domination of the English language.

What we stand for:

  1. Feminism, in every sense of the word.
  2. An immediate end to the oppressive patriarchy.
  3. Love and acceptance for womyn of color, lesbians, bisexuals and our homeless, disabled and psychiatric survivor sisters.
  4. Non-denominational, non-sectarian female spirituality (e.g. honoring the lunar cycle), and worship of the Goddess in all Her names and forms.
  5. Love for the Mother of All, Mother Earth. Along with the Green Party, Lilith is a voice for the environment.
