The Party for Personal Responsibility (PPR) has
evolved from the Party for Fiscal Responsibility, a breakaway party
that split off from the National
Union as the 46th Congress election campaign got underway in late
1997. Like its predecessor, the PPR
will focus on the key economic issues in Patria today: the spiraling
deficit,
out-of-control
social spending, government over-regulation, and tax-'n-spend policies
that are detrimental to businesses (both big and small) and
corporations. To the above in 2006, the concept of personal responsibility will be
added: not governmental index-finger-wagging nanny state fiat but
individual choices such as whether to take up smoking, eat junk food,
gamble in casinos, wear seat belts or motorcycle helmets, and practice
safe sex. Only YOU know what is best for you, not the government,
and certainly not nanny-state leftist organizations like the Center for Science in the Public
Interest! The PPR stands for personal choices and consumer freedom!
Drive without buckling up, light up a ciggy, eat super-size french
fries at your favorite fast-food joint, and have sex without a condom
on us! It's all about free choice and personal responsibility for
the consequences, if any.
PRO-BUSINESS! PRO-CORPORATE AGENDA!
The corporate agenda is our agenda. We aim to create a friendly
environment
for transnational corporations. Patria is open for business! Less
government
regulations mean lower taxes and tax breaks for corporations!
BE WISE, PRIVATIZE!
The PPR believes that inefficient, costly government services and
state-run
enterprises, from Ramrajyavani to Patrienish Railways, should be sold
off
to the private sector. Everything short of the military is fair
game
for privatization. Municipal governments should even have the
option
of privatizing their fire and police departments.
VOTE FOR TAX CUTS ON APRIL 15, 2006!
The PPR is the only party that is committed to eliminating the deficit
and reducing taxes in the 48th Congressus Patriaë. The PPR
believes
that corporations, big business, laissez-faire capitalism, and free
enterprise
are the keys to fiscal responsibility in government, not more failed
liberal
social programs, handouts and entitlements. For lower taxes and an
across-the-board
tax cut, vote PPR! If you want your children and grandchildren to
grow up in a deficit-free Patria, vote PPR!
