The CIA

The CIA wanted Kennedy dead. Kennedy was angry at the CIA for the abortive Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba and had threatened to dismantle the CIA and to reorganise it into several different organisations. The CIA also took a hard-line stance against communism and were upset at Kennedy's uncommitted stance in the Vietnam War.

The FBI

Probably only assisted in a cover up by the CIA. J Edgar Hoover and Kennedy did not get along well. They clashed over many issues and some people believed Hoover's job was in danger.

Military Industrial Complex Wanted Kennedy Dead due to his reluctance to commit combat troops to Vietnam. Johnson committed troops just four days after Kennedy's death. More coming soon.

Cubans/Russians/Communists

Highly Unlikely. Kennedy took a soft stance on communism and so it is unlikeley that communists would want him out of office as it would mean that another man would take his place who was more anticommunist. The most likely person to take Kennedy's place was vice-president Lindon Johnson. It should have been clear to the communists that he would take a harder stance against them than Kennedy had so it would have been foolish of them to assassinate Kennedy.
