Spinach Artichoke Dip
This recipe is currently the only recipe offered and it was given to me by my great friend Leigh, who was tired of seeing this page empty.
Thanks Leigh for the recipe and I hope people appreciate it for two reasons:
1) The dip tastes great, I have tried it.
2) It fills the page.
Spinach Artichoke Dip
1 Stick of butter (1/2 cup)1 Stick of butter (1/2 cup)
1 medium onion chopped
2-10 oz. packages of frozen chopped spinach
1-14 oz. can artichoke hearts-NOT MARINATED! (drained and chopped)
1-8 oz. package cream cheese
1-8 oz. package sour cream
1 Cup shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
1 Cup parmasean Cheese
Salt to taste
Melt butter in a large skillet. Chop onions and cook in butter 5-6 minutes or until soft.
Add all other ingredients and stir for 10 minutes.
Add everything to a cassarole dish and add a little cheese to top.
Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Serve hot.
