Over Christmas break, my dad gave me my great great uncle Scott's old camera. It's a pretty sweet Pentax camera with both a regular lens and an 80-200mm zoom lens, and all these other bitchin' accessories. So towards the end of spring semester, Justin and I went on a lil' photo shoot with it in downtown Blacksburg, and they came out really well. Justin has a professional camera of his own, so he showed me some cool tricks of the trade.
The Lyric, Blacksburg's old theatre/moviehouse. They show lots of cool
flicks there for cheap prices, and it's a landmark in Blacksburg. I
exposed it for about 7 seconds.
This is favorite picture. I exposed it for about 8 seconds while a car
drove by, and Justin illuminated himself with the camera's flash.
Me on a bench as a BT bus drove by.
Me looking all deep and pensive.
