Guitar kicks ass.  I like it a lot.  I've been playing guitar since 9th grade which is... um.... about 5 years.  I'm not the best guitarist in the world, but I'm pretty good.  I can pretty much figure out how to play any song, with some practice.  Another good way to figure out songs is to find the tablature for them on the web (you'll find links below).  Although I haven't had much time for guitar lately, I'd like to be in a band someday, just for fun.  On this page, you'll find some information about guitar, and some links.  Yay.

Below is a picture of my guitar and amp.  My guitar is a standard Fender Stratocaster, Squier series, with a blond neck, red body, and white pick guard.  My amp is a basic Crate amp.  I'd have a picture of my actual guitar and amp, but I can't use my scanner in Windows 2000.  Oh well.  I also have a Crybaby wah pedal (not shown to scale), which is the best wah pedal, used by Eric Clapton and other guitar greats.  I don't use the wah pedal too much... it takes some practice.  I use a Korg tuner to tune the strings, unless I'm too lazy to plug it in, in which case I just tune it by ear.

Here are some guitar links:

Fender was the first company to make the original electric guitar, and it's the most popular brand.  They make many varieties of Stratocasters, Telecasters, and bass guitars.  They also make really good amps.

Gibson also makes really good guitars, and they're the other popular brand of both electric and acoustic guitars.  They make the Les Paul series, the Epiphone series, and many others.  Whenever I go to concerts, the bands are almost always using Fender or Gibson instruments.

Parker makes the NiteFly electric guitar, which I hear is really awesome. I haven't played one, but I've seen pictures, and ohhhh man, do they look sweet (see picture below).

Peavey makes some of the best amplifiers out there, and lots of other audio equipment.

Crate makes good amps too.

This is the place to go to find guitar tablature.  You can find tabs for virtually any classic or modern rock song out there.  It's better than buying a book of guitar tabs, because it's free.  You can print them out and stuff.  I use this site a lot when I'm trying to figure out how to play songs.

Guitarworld Magazine is an essential for serious guitarists, and its website is also pretty cool.

Um... yeah.  There's plenty more cool guitar stuff on the Internet, but I didn't particularly feel like putting it all on this page.  Go to a search engine and type in "guitar" if you want to look at more guitar stuff.  Ya lazy bastards.
