Mac Tips My List
- Always turn on and turn off your Mac correctly.
- Make an emergency startup disk using the disk tools.
- If you have removable storage, then create an emergency startup disk making sure to copy your CD ROM extension. This way you can do a clean install if you OS is on CD ROM.
- Backup often
- If you work with large files(Photoshop), instead of purchasing another 64MB of RAM, purchase a SCSI harddrive(>1GB) and use that drive as the primary scratch disk. This works wonders if your system already has 96MB or less of RAM.
