News:
Team Photo Cards! We are proud to say that we are the first team at the University to have full-color team photo cards. We use these cards as hand-outs to build public awareness about the Purdue Dance Team. Modern Graphics Printing was very generous in giving us a great price break on the color prints
PDT Members Working in the Community! Because of the prominence the Dance Team has developed in the past few years and expert talent of our team members, several of them have been asked to judge try-outs, and have secured positions as dance coaches and choreographers at various Greater Lafayette high schools and junior highs.
New Traditions! We have started new traditions-- they have been great in building our team bond! We had our first Team/Parent dinner, which enabled everyone to meet the parents and have fun. In addition, we are planning to have two all-team thank-you note sessions (November and March) to let our sponsors, alumni and special supporters know how much their support is sincerely appreciated.
Goals:
We hope to have the 14 team members financed in order to attend the anticipated Purdue Football Bowl Game. In addition, we would like to attend the NCA Danz National Collegiate Championship in April 2000 at Daytona Beach, Florida
