First of all, I'd like to introduce myself, I'm Timur. From Kazakh language it is translated as "made of iron". Yup, I am stronger than just iron :-) Nevertheless, this page is not dedicated to male superiority, which we all know is true, but this page is dedicated to some interesting things about everything, especially things I'm interested in.

My home country for many people is an unknown desert place called - Kazakhstan, today it is written as Kazakstan. There is a long history behind our Republic. A long and a very very intriguing enigma of history is hidden behind our past. Nevertheless, nowadays we're independent, independent from the old Soviet Union... I am back in hot Texas after my work trip to "home sweet home" of Kazakstan. For now, I am back to school for my last final year to get my Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering. The University of Texas at Austin is my school. By the way, I might have already graduated if the summer of 2001 passed.
