About me

After living my whole life between England and Nigeria, now I moved to Dubai, one of the emirates of United Arab Emirates (UAE). I must say living in Dubai is a wish comes through for me.

One of the things I have learnt is that learning about your culture is a vital part of one growing up. Without it, is like living in this world as visitor. I enjoy my childhood and I must say it is one of the best times. I attended St Helen’s Unity secondary school Ondo, in Ondo town, Ondo state, Nigeria. Later completed my university degree in United Kingdom.

My name is Vivien Folake, born to the family of Akinmade from Ondo, Nigeria. This is one of the reasons that I went to a secondary school in my hometown. I guess my parent wanted me to learn more about my town. May be because, once a child grow up, he or she will have to decide where to live, which could be different from what their parent had in mind.
