I'm Glad I Never Kissed Him Anna L. Williams Spring 1996
I’m glad I never him, because he truly never cared. I'm glad I never kissed him, even if many times I dared.
I sit here brokenhearted: he is out living his life. I am sitting here brokenhearted, accompanying me are pain and strife.
It was supposed to be a dream, A nightmare it turned out to be. It was suppose to be a dream. I wake up now to face reality.
I would have done anything for him, anything in the world, he asked. I found out the hard way that he was just wearing a mask.
All his promises? they are broken. All my dreams? Well, they're crushed. And the words he had spoken they were spoken to me in lust.
The boy said he loved me. And foolish me, I believed! The boy said he loved me, All his words were just a tease.
I am just so glad I never kissed him. |
