A VERY HAPPY DIWALI
TO ALL OUR HINDU FRIENDS !
Diwali - The Festival of Lights - is an important and colorful Indian festival of the Hindus.
The word "Diwali" comes from the Sanskrit word "Deepavali" - Deepa meaning light and Avali means a row, i.e a row of lights.
Light is significant in Hinduism because it signifies goodness. During the Festival of Lights, oil lamps, are burned throughout the day and into the night to ward off darkness and evil. Lamps are also the symbol of knowledge. Lighting the lamp of knowledge means to understand and reflect upon the significant purpose of life.
Diwali is celebrated for five days, each day having it's own significance and ritual. Many legends and myths are also attached to each day. Each region of India celebrates Diwali in it's own unique way. Diwali falls on the last day of the last month of lunar calendar.

Dilbert's Theorem on Salary states that Engineers, Teachers, Programmers and Scientists can never earn as much salary as business executives and sales people.
This theorem can now be supported by a mathematical equation based on the following three postulates:
Postulate 1: Knowledge is Power (Knowledge=Power)
Postulate 2: Time is Money (Time=Money)
Postulate 3 (as every Physics student knows): Power = Work/Time
It therefore follows:
Knowledge = Work/Time and since Time = Money,
we have: Knowledge=Work/Money
Solving for Money, we get: Money = Work /Knowledge
Thus, as Knowledge approaches zero, Money approaches infinity,
regardless of the amount of Work done.
Conclusion: The Less you Know, the More you Make
