It may be very interesting to see how God has spoken to people in the past, but surely that's just the problem-it was all in the past! The Bible is a very ancient book. What has it got to do with us and now?
  Christians believe that the Bible is relevant today, because of three things about God:

God is not confined to the pages of the Bible. He is with us today, caring about the lives we lead, the decisions we take, the difficulties we face.

     GOD IS LIVING!
     GOD IS TRUE!
     GOD IS KING!

So when we open the Bible and begin to read it, we are exposing ourselves to the voice of the God who made us and who speaks to us with authority. It could change our lives! In fact, it is means to.
