Sudbury is an average sized Canadian city with a current population of 96,000. But according to Mike, "it's one of the best kept secrets in Canada." He says that the people are friendly, and overall, it's a caring community.
What makes Sudbury stand out so much, in Mike's opinion, is the scenery. The city is located in the midst of crystal clear lakes and magnificent wilderness surroundings, right on the beautiful Canadian shield.
Because of its location, Sudbury started out as a nickel mining town, but it grew to accomodate other industries, including business, education and tourism.
