- As a music lover, I live for concerts, so when I got a chance to go to Jazz Fest it was like Christmas, New Year's and my birthday all at once. Paul Simon, Wilson Pickett, Mystikal, Cowboy Mouth and Dave Matthews Band in one weekend...need I say more?!
- If you're wondering about the "happening" Ruston social scene, check out Rabb's Steakhouse. They have a steady group of performers on the big deck.
- Two incredible service groups that I've had the opportunity to work with, Americorps and Teach for America give you a whole new perspective. It's a great chance to make a difference in someone's life.
- ESPNet--the only place I can keep track of all my teams!! (Tampa Bay Bucs, Washington Redskins, Miami, Oklahoma Sooners, the Lady Techsters and Dallas Mavericks)
- And just to throw a little class and sophistication on the list, a site every 20-26 y/o single female should have bookmarked, Cosmo. Who needs Sex and the City?
- My personal favorite...The Whitehouse---use it to let the pres know what's on your mind(I do FREQUENTLY)!!
- And lest anyone should doubt how well-rounded I am, I spend Sundays on the couch watching Nascar and cheering for anyone but the Rainbow Brat. I'll always be a #3 girl...
