This is an awesome web site. I wish I was as fortunate as you to go to Notre Dame, but I am from Kansas and I could not afford the out-of-state tuition. So, I go to Kansas State University which is ok. I would greatly appreciate if you could give me a hand with something i have been trying to get for some time. You may have greater resources available to you there, (well, of course you do), to help me get a roster of the players on the 1973 undefeated ootball team. My father, who is pretty ill, has a signed football from that team from that year that he got at practice one day that year. I was turned on to Notre Dame by a friend who has been a diehard fan of ND football for as long as I have known him(7 years) and no telling how long before we ever met! It was great learning about the heritage of ND football! It must be awesome attending uch a fine school as Notre Dame! As far as tickets go,I would give plenty to have a couple of tickets to a Notre Dame game! I think my friend would have a heart attack! Coming from South Carolina would be a breeze!

I went back to ND for Easter just last weekend. Things have been complicated in my life, and I needed to be someplace where it was okay to pray, reflect, be still, and know who I am. The weekend was nothing short of magical -- the community, the solitud , the liturgies. It is such a special place, and will always be a touchstone for me. I love the Band of the Fighting Irish the most! I am a member of B.A.N.D. (Band Alumni Notre Dame) and I attended the band reunion last October. As always, it was awesome seeing all the alumni (over 600 of us) and watching and listening to the great ND arching band of 1998! All of my fond memories of Notre Dame involve my experiences with the Band. I wouldn't trade them for anything!
