VIRGINIA BEACH -- Ignacio Soriano Budoy died Nov. 13, 2001. He was born in Manila, Philippines, and served in the U.S. Navy retiring after 20 years of service. He then
worked and retired from the Defense Logistics Agency at the Norfolk
Naval Base. Mr. Budoy was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic
Church, the Filipino Cultural Center, the United Ilocano Association of
Tidewater, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 3160, Fleet Reserve Branch No.
60, the American Legion Post No. 0141, and Knights of Columbus, 4th
degree with council No. 367.? ?He is survived by his loving wife of28 years,
Erlinda Berro Budoy and their loving family.? A funeral
Mass will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Catholic
Church. Entombment will follow with full military honors at The Good
Shepherd Mausoleum of Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive
friends at Woodlawn Funeral Home and Crematory Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m.
with a wake service at 7 p.m.
